Portable propane cylinders​

Large propane tanks are utilized for heating homes and water, as well as fueling large appliances and other items. They are available starting from 250 gallons. Portable propane cylinders are excellent for grilling, heating patios, and powering forklifts and RVs, with sizes ranging from 5 lbs. to 100+ lbs. Propane cylinders are convenient and easy to travel with, making them perfect for camping trips. Although we do not sell cylinders, we offer refills at any of our retailers and refillers.

Above ground or underground tank: Telemetry forecasting enables you to monitor the levels of your propane tank using your mobile device. With telemetry forecasting, Pinnacle will automatically monitor your tank levels and refill the tank when levels are low. 

The second method involves simply checking the meter on the top of the tank. This method allows you to utilize Pinnacle's Will Call Service, which allows customers to order propane at their convenience. 

Pinnacle also offers a Keep Full Program to ensure a continuous propane supply by monitoring tank levels and scheduling refills. 

Portable cylinder: You can use a scale to measure the remaining pounds of fuel or install an external gauge. Locate your nearest refiller to have your portable tank refilled.

The short answer is yes! If used correctly and with precautions. Propane is nontoxic, colorless and odorless, which is why a rotten eggs smell is added to propane for safety. Hazards occur from leaky valves or connections, damaged tanks, external heat sources, underground line damage and adverse weather events.

A well-maintained 500-gallon propane tank is built for long-term storage of propane and will last for 30 years or more. Environmental elements and wear and tear can lower a propane tank's lifespan, but generally every Pinnacle Propane tank is built to last.
The answer is no… with a few caveats. Propane has a freezing point of minus 306.4 degrees Fahrenheit, which is pretty chilly. In fact, it’s around 200 degrees colder than any recorded temperature in human history. No matter how or where you store your propane, this figure remains constant.
